Tomfoolery ▪ Meat Loaf’s Guide To Romantic Caveats

By Matt Sussman | Thursday, May 28th, 2009

meat loafYou know that song, “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)”? What the heck is “that?” I mean, sure, you could look it up on Wikipedia and be done with it, but how can we trust the supposed true citation of Meat Loaf explaining what “that” is? He’s a rock star! Half the time he doesn’t know where he is.

So we took a straw poll of music fans who do not look up interpretations of music lyrics on the Internet. If you would do anything for love except “that,” what is “that”?

• 36% won’t put on pants
• 23% won’t take a paternity test
• 14% won’t honor the restraining order
• 11% won’t loosen the ankle chain
• 8% won’t divorce their World of Warcraft spouse
• 6% won’t hire a guy to stop him from blogging
• 2% won’t stop listening to country music, apparently

The correct answer is “Admit he’s wrong”.

I really enjoy this new WoW guide I found while searching on Youtube. It has some great tips, and now that I reached 60 and need an epic mount, am planning on using it all that much more. It has graphic maps and is just wonderful. Some of the stuff is really fleshed out and given walk-throughs are really easy to follow. Shameless plug I know, but in case someone else is looking for a guide like this I found one.
